Two killed in Rajbari road crash

At least two people were killed when a motorcycle hit a roadside electric pole in Alipur Shantinagar area on Kamaldia-Bhandaria road in Rajbari on Tuesday (March 12).

The deceased were known as Sohag, 19, son of Abdur Rab Mandal, and Rajon Sheikh, 21, son of Lalon Sheikh.

Abdul Arif, uncle of slain Rajon Sheikh said that two youths went to roam the area this morning after buying a new motorcycle. At one stage, the motorcycle hit a roadside electric pole around 6:00am, leaving them dead on the spot.

Rajbari Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Iftekharul Alam Pradhan confirmed the matter.
