4 killed in Cumilla road crash

At least four people were killed and injured three others when a pickup truck turned turtle on Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Chandina upazil of Comilla on Tuesday (March 12).

The deceased were identified as Monir Hossain, Habibur Rahman, Akter Hossain, and Rafiqul Islam.

Eliotganj highway police station Officer-in-Charge said fish-laden a Dhaka-bound truck hit a roadside vehicle in Belasar area around 5:30am, leaving the four people on the spot and injured three others.

The injured were sent to Chandina health complex and later shifted to Dhaka Medical college hospital.
