15 shops gutted in Bahubal fire

At least 15 shops were gutted in a fire at Mirpur Bazar under Bahubal upazila in Habiganj district on Friday noon.

The fire originated from a restaurant at around 1:45pm and soon engulfed the adjacent business establishments. As a result, 15 shops were completely gutted.

Being informed, four units of firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze with the help of locals and affected businessmen after about three hours of efforts.

The extent of the damage could not be known immediately.
