JCD activist killed in Cumilla factional clash 

An activist of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JSD) has been killed in a factional clash between two groups over establishing supremacy in Shashongacha area of Cumilla city.

The deceased is Jamil Hasan Arnab.

Four people also received bullet injury in the incident.

According to sources, supporters of Abul Kashem group and Rabbi-Sakku group locked into a clash at around 2:00pm on Friday.

He was a student of Cumilla Victoria Government College.

The injured were taken to the Cumilla Medical College Hospital.

Firoz Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, confirmed the news. No one has been arrested, and no case lodged in this connection yet, the police officer added.
