Trader killed in Feni road accident

A businessman was killed and injured another one when a lobet-truck rammed a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Feni BISIC area on Dhaka-Chattogram on Friday evening (March 15).

The deceased was known as Saiful Islam, 35, son of Mokhlesur Rahman.

Police and witnesses said Chauddagram Upazila-bound auto-rickshaw hit the auto rickshaw from opposite direction around 6:00pm, leaving Saiful Islam dead on the spot.

Later, fire service rescuers recovered the body and sent it to Feni Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Mahipal highway police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Billal Hossain confirmed the matter.
