President, PM to visit Tungipara on Sunday

President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Tungipara on Sunday to pay rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his mausoleum.

On this occasion, all the preparations for organizing children's rally, cultural programs, cleaning and beautification of mausoleum complex in Tungipara, have been completed.

Tight security measures have been taken across the district.

It is known that the President and Prime Minister will arrive Tungipara by helicopter on Sunday morning. Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will welcome the President on his arrival in Tungipara.

On the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation and National Children's Day, the President will pay homage first then Prime Minister will pay tribute to the father of the nation.

Meanwhile, a joint contingent from the three forces will present a guard of honour.

Gopalganj Cultural Officer Mamun Bin Saleh said that all the preparations for the cultural program on the occasion of Bangabandhu's birthday have been completed.
