Crown Princess Victoria satisfied over edn, treatment facilities for Rohingyas

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, serving as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has expressed her satisfaction over education and treatment facilities for Rohingyas at Bhasan Char in Hatiya of Noakhali.
During her visit to Rohingya camps in Hatiya of Noakhali, she went to a school and 20-bed hospital at Bhasan Char on Wednesday.
Crown Princess observed the early warning system and how it helps to reduce loss and damage in remote areas like Hatiya.
The Crown Princess witnessed firsthand the collaborative efforts of multiple UN agencies, including UNHCR, WFP, IOM, UNICEF, UNWOMEN, and UNFPA.
She also gained insights into the challenges faced by the Rohingya community and the various aid services extended to them.
Crown Princess Victoria was accompanied by Ulrika Modéer, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Director of External Relations and Advocacy at UNDP; and Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Johan Forssell; along with other senior government officials and UN representatives.
