Boiler blast kills two in Pabna

Two workers were killed in a boiler blast in a rice husking factory at Faridpur upazila in Pabna on Thursday (March 21).

The deceased was known as Jahangir Alam, 37, son of Abdur Razzak, Tarek Hossain, 5, son of Pakhi Khatun.

Sources said the incident took place in Kashipur village around 10:30am, leaving its owner Jahangir dead on the spot and injured the kid. Later, the injured was taken to upazila health complex where duty doctor declared her dead.

Faridpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hafizur Rahman confirmed the matter.
