Gold price hiked again

Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) has again hiked the gold price in the local market.
The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of BAJUS took the decision at a meeting on Thursday.
According to the decision, price of 22-carat gold has been hiked by Tk 2,916 to Tk1, 14,073 per bhori, the highest price in the local market.
In addition, the price of 21-carat is now Tk 1,08,883 per bhori, 18-carat Tk 93,312 per bhori, and gold of traditional method Tk 77,799 per bhori respectively.
The new price will be effective from March 22 (Friday).
