1 dead, 10 injured as bus falls into ditch in Barishal

A person was killed and 10 others were injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Gaurnadi upazila of Barishal early Friday (March 22).

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said the accident occurred around 12 am when the passenger bus of Hanif Paribahan from Dhaka fell into the roadside ditch, leaving a passenger dead on the spot and injured 10 others.

Gaurnadi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwar Hossain confirmed the matter.
