Two passengers killed in Mymensingh road crash

At least two people were killed and injured four others when a passenger rammed an auto-rickshaw in Trishal of Mymensingh on Thursday (March 28).

Of the deceased one was known as Shafiqul Islam, 33, son of late Abdus Samad, hailed from Chikna Manahar village of the upazila.

Confirming the matter, Trishal police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kamal Hossain said the hit the auto-rickshaw when it tried to take a u-tern in Madani CNG pump area around 11:00am, leaving a minor dead on the spot and injured five people.

Later, the injured were sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where Shafiqul died under treatment.
