1650 MT onion arrives in Sirajganj from India

The first shipment of 1,650 metric tonnes (MT) of onion imported from India has arrived at rail yard in Sirajganj.

The shipment of onions reached in Sirajganj on Monday (April 1) morning. Later, the onions will be transported by trucks from here to Dhaka, Gazipur and Chattogram through dealers.

Pratap Kumar, joint director of Trading Corporation Bangladesh (TCB) and Ismail Hossain, in-charge of Raipur railway station confirmed the news.
