7-year-old girl found dead in Chattogram

Body of a seven-year-old girl was found at a dustbin in Chattogram city's Falmandi dustbin yesterday night (April 2).

The deceased was known as Nusrat alias Sukhi.

Police said that on information, police recovered the sacked-body from the dustbin around 11:00pm. The girl was murdered after raping her, according to the initial investigation.

Chattogram metropolitan police Assistant Commissioner (Kotwali Zone) Atanu Chakraborty confirmed the matter.
