Money stolen from agent bank vault in Kumarkhali 

Miscreants broke the vault of an agent bank branch of Islami Bank Ltd at Alauddin Nagar in Kumarkhali of Kushtia and stole 5 lakh 27 thousand 668 taka. 

The matter was noticed by the officials after opening the office on Wednesday (March 3) morning. Police have already visited the spot. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kumarkhali Police Station Akibul Islam confirmed the news.

According to the bank authorities, the agent of Islami Bank in Alauddin Nagar of the upazila was stolen from the bank’s branch office. 

The matter came to the attention of the officials after opening the office on Wednesday morning. The miscreants stole five lakh 27 thousand 668 taka by breaking the vault of the bank. They cut the window grill and entered the bank.
