Bank official rescued

Sonali Bank’s Ruma branch manager Nizam Uddin has been rescued after 48 hours the branch was robbed. 

His health condition is well.

Ruma Upazila Nirbahi Officer (acting) Md Didarul Alam confirmed the news. But he did not say in details.

The Ruma branch of Sonali Bank in Bandarban was looted at around 9:00pm on Tuesday.

Branch manager Nizam Uddin was at a near mosque for Tarabi prayer. Robbers kidnapped the manager after they had failed money from the bank vault.

Meanwhile, RAB headquarters confirmed the free of Nizam Uddin.
