Massive gunfight ensues at Thanchi Bazar

A massive exchange of fire reportedly ensued between a terrorist group and members of the police and Border Guard Bangladesh on Thursday night at Thanchi Bazar under Bandarban district.

Since the incident, there is panic among the locals in the area.

Thanchi Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Mamun said the gunfight ensued around 8:30 pm.

However, no casualty was immediately reported.
