Bandarban bank robbery: 4 more arrested

Law enforcers have arrested four more people including a woman in a drive over Bandarban's Thanchi bank robberies.

The detainees are Bhanunun Nuam Bom, daughter of Jingchun Nung Bom, , Lal Mun Chom Bom’s two son- Jemineu Bom and Loncheo Bom, and Kafil Uddin Sagar, son of Md Yusuf.

A press notification signed by Police Super Syed Shahin revealed the information around 12:30pm on Monday noon (April 8).

The law enforcers also seized a jeep car used during the robbery.

After initial interrogation, the detainees were shown arrested in the cases filed with Thanchi police station.

Earlier on Wednesday (April 3), 25-30 members of the armed robber group attacked Sonali Bank and Krishi Bank. Meanwhile, they looted 15-20 lakh from the bank making hostages people there.
