KNF’s associate Siam Bom arrested

A man associated with the Kuki Chin National Front (KNF) has been arrested during the joint operations in Bandarban.

The arrestee was identified as Lal Lian Siam Bom, 57, son of late Thon Aloho Bom. He was arrested in a raid at Bethel Para in Ruma upazila of the district.

Additional Superintendent of Police Raihan Kazemi confirmed the matter on Tuesday (April 10).

Lal Lian Siam Bom was later produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Wednesday (April 10) afternoon and sent to jail. 

Joint forces have so far arrested 55 people, including the chief coordinator of KNF in connection with the bank robberies, looting of weapons and abduction of a bank official.
