8 held with firearms in Bilaichari

A total of eight members of an armed group have been arrested during an operation of the Bangladesh Army in Bilaichari upazila of Rangamati.

They were arrested at around 10:40pm on Tuesday from Dhupanichhara Para area of the upazila.

Inter-Services Public Relations said this in a press release on Tuesday.

During the drive, they also recovered nine LGs, 19 LG cartridges, two mobile phones and two ID cards.
