BNP leader Gayeshwar gets bail in 6 cases

A Dhaka court has granted bail to BNP Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy in six cases filed with Paltan and Ramna police stations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Ash Shams Jaglul Hossain passed the order on Thursday (April 25) after Gayeshwar surrendered before the court and sought bail in the case.
Additional Public Prosecutor of the court concerned Taposh Kumar Paul confirmed the matter.
The six cases— four with Paltan police station and two with Ramna police station— were filed in connection with the clash at the BNP’s grand rally on October 28, 2023.
