Bounty for UP chairman, member announced

The Faridpur district administration has announced a bounty to help arrest Asaduzzaman Tapan, chairman of Dumain union parishad under Madhukhali upazila in Faridpur, and Ajit Kumar Sarkar, a ward member of the union parishad.

Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Md Kamrul Hasan Talukder announced this at a press conference on Friday.

On Thursday (April 18) evening, two brothers were beaten to death at Panchapalli village under Dumain union of the upazila. They are accused in the incident and the duo have remained absconding after the incident.
