Probe body formed, three sacked

Three staff have been sacked over a head-on collision between a commuter and an oil-laden freight train at the Joydebpur railway junction in the Outer Signal (Kazibari) area of Gazipur.

A three-member committee has been formed to investigate the head-on collision.

Station Master of Joydebpur junction Hanif Mia confirmed the news.

The sacked staff are Master Md Hasem, Saddam Hossain and Mostafijur Rahman.

A five-member regional committee has been formed.

Four people have been injured in the accident.
