53 betel leaf gardens gutted in Rajshahi

At least 53 betel leaf gardens on 100 bighs of land were gutted at Porakoya village under Gonipur union in Bagmara upazila of Rajshahi on Friday. 

Being informed, four units of fire service rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

According to locals, the fire originated from a cigarette.
