Gold price hiked by Tk 1050 per bhori

Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has hiked the price of gold by Tk 1050 per bhori again.  

A press release signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of the standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of BAJUS, disclosed this on Saturday (May 4).   

As per the new price, per bhori 22-carat gold will cost Tk 1,10,213.  

Apart from this, the price of 21-carat gold has been set at Tk 1,05,198 per bhori, 18-carat gold at Tk90,174 per bhori and the traditional gold price at Tk74,989.  

According to the press release, the new-revised price will be effective from May 5.
