Busy in recording video, hospital admission delayed; youth dies

A youth named Md Yeasin, 26, was killed as a vehicle hit him on Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Cumilla on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased’s relatives have alleged that  passersby and bystanders were busy in recording video and taking photos instead of helping him. No one came to rescue him and send to hospital. As a result, he died due to heavy blooding.

The deceased was the son of Amin Mia at Rajoshpur Horbatoli village under Chithlia union in Pashuram upazila of Feni.

According to sources, he used to live in Cumilla Cantonment area. A vehicle hit his motorcycle on Thursday afternoon. Police rescued him and sent to a nearby hospital but duty doctors declared him dead.
