The United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) has called a half-day blockade of roads and waterways in Khagrchari and Rangamati for May 15.

They have called the blockade demanding cancellation of Chattogram Hill Tracts Regulation 1900 and protesting abolition of Raja-Hedman-Kabari titles and plotting to take away traditional rights of hilly people.

A press release signed by Niran Chakma of UPDF was issued in this regard on Monday.
