Over 200 houses gutted in fire

Over 200 houses were gutted in a fire at the Thaingkhali Rohingya Camp in Ukhiya of Cox's Bazar on Friday.

The fire started around 11:30am, said Officer-in-Charge of Ukhiya Thana Md Shamim Hossain.

He said being infirmed a team of police reached the spot.

A total of nine fire fighting units rushed to the spot, of which five units worked to douse the fire.
