BGB arrests 2 Myanmar citizens from Teknaf with crystal meth

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two Myanmar nationals with 3.1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine (crystal meth) from Teknaf on Friday (May 31).
The detainees are Md Alam, 19, son of Imam Hossain, and Md Ayas, 21, son of Nur Mohammad, hailed from Mongdu Munnipara of Myanmar.
BGB Commander Lt. Col. Mahiuddin Ahmed confirmed the matter on Friday morning.
He said acting on secret information a BGB team conducted drive in Noakhaliapara area of Marine Drive and recovered the drugs.
