Two killed in Brahmanbaria road crash

At least two people were killed when a pickup and an auto-rickshaw collided head-on in Gautampra of Suhilpur union under Sadar upazila of Brahmanbaria.

The deceased were known as Mithun, 28, son of Alauddin, hailed from Chandiara village, and Shamsu Mia, 24, son of Nurul Islam, of Sutiara village.

Police said that Nasirnagar-bound a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided with a pickup van in the area around 10:30am, leaving the two people dead on the spot and injured two others.

Khatikhata highway police outpost Sub-Inspector Md Sarowar confirmed the matter.
