MP Omar Faruk Chowdhury files GD in fear of death

Omar Faruk Chowdhury, lawmaker from the Rajshahi-1 (Tanore-Godagarhi) parliamentary constituency, has filed a GD over the fear of death.

The lawmaker filed the GD with Godagarhi Thana on Thursday (May 30).

In the GD, Omar Faruk Chowdhury said about 2500 anti-Awami League people gathered on Thursday at Godagarhi Upazila Parishad Chattar as part of a plot to kill him.

Officer-in-Charge of Godagarhi Thana Abdul Matin confirmed the news, but he did not make any comment.
