Benazir leaves country under govt’s support: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged the present government made all arrangements for former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed to leave the country.

The BNP secretary general made the allegation at a discussion in Gazipur city on Saturday in observance of the 43rd anniversary of death of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman.

“Now it is a matter of question how he left the country,” Fakhrul said.   

“The Awami League leaders think that people are foolish, and it is easy to make them confused. But, people understand everything. You have tried to deceive people as you have running the country through cheating,” he said.
