Shofi Ahmed passes away

Former General Secretary of Jasod Chhatra League and former member of Liberation War affairs sub-committee of Awami League Shofi Ahmed has passed away.

He was 63.

He breathed his last on Monday evening following a heart attack at his residence in the capital.

He left behind wife, two sons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

He hailed from Makhna village under Nayekpur union in Madanpur upazila of Netrokona district.

Shofi Ahmed was a student of Dhaka University and participated in mass movement against former dictator government in 1990.
