Shooting at victory rally: BCL activist dead in Brahmanbaria

An activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) died after shooting at a victory rally in Brahmanbaria sadar upazila on Wednesday evening.

The incident took place in College Para area of the municipality at around 6:30pm on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Ayash Ahmed Ejaz, 23, son of Aminul Islam, a resident of the aforesaid area.

He was a supporter of Shahadat Hossain Shovon, the general secretary of the district Chhatra League and a candidate with the pineapple symbol.
