Lightning strikes kill 3 in Naogaon 

Three people including a woman were killed in separate two lightning strikes in Manda and Patnitala upazilas respectively of Nagaon district on Saturday afternoon.

Two people were hurt in another incident in Badalgachi upazila.

Shamsul Alam, 35, son of Foimuddin at Bholam village of Manda upazila, died in a lightning strike at around 5:00pm.

In another strike, Khademul Islam, 50, son of Md Bisha Mondol at Nagargola village under Patichora union of Patnitala upazila, and Monika, 35, wife of Abdul Hamid at Gahon village, died.
