Police cordon off suspected militant den in Netrokona

Police members have cordoned off a suspected militant den in Netrokona sadar upazila.

Policemen surrounded the house of Prof. Dr Abdul Mannan from 2:00pm on Saturday at Bhashapara village under Kailati union of the upazila, suspecting it is being used as a militant hideout.

Police Super Foyez Ahmed said, on secret information, in primary raid, police seized one Indian pistol and 17 rounds of bullets from the house.
