3 killed as bus hits three-wheeler in Rangpur

Three people including a college teacher were killed and three others injured as a bus hit a three-wheeler in Gangachara upazila of Rangpur.

The accident took place at around 12:00pm in Chairman More area of Ganjipur Bhinnojagat road. 

An Ansar member named Meherul, 35, died on the spot. Two women, Rani and Rimu, died while taking Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Rani was a teacher at Kishoreganj Degree College in Nilphamari.

The bus driver fled the spot after the accident.
