President arrives at Pabna on 4-day visit

President Mohammed Shahabuddin has arrived at his hometown Pabna today on a four-day visit to attend several programmes.

The programmes include holding view exchange meetings with the local business leaders, government officials and elected representatives.

The President reached Shaheed Advocate Amin Uddin Stadium in Pabna by a helicopter at 12:40 pm on Sunday (June 9).

Pabna Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asaduzzaman, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Pabna Akbar Ali Munshi and other high officials welcome him at the stadium.

A festive mood is prevailing in and around the Pabna town centering the arrival of President Shahabuddin in his hometown.

The district administration has ensured foolproof security on this occasion.

The President is scheduled to return to Dhaka on June 12, according to his program schedule.
