Couple crushed under bus in Lalmonirhat

A couple was crushed under a bus in Fokirer Tokea area of Lalmonirhat sadar upazila on Sunday night.

The victims were identified as Majedul Islam Babu, 40, and his wife Roksana Begum, 35.

According to locals and police, they were going to Kurigram from Rangpur riding a motorcycle but they collided with a bus at around 9pm, leaving two dead on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Lalmonirhat Thana Omar Faruk confirmed the news.
