Police officer receives bullet injury in Narsingdi clash

A police officer has received bullet injury and four villagers injured in a clash between two rival groups over establishing supremacy in Narsingdi sadar upazila.

The clash took place on Wednesday noon in Olipura village under Najarpur union. 

The bullet-hit police officer is Joy Banik, sub-inspector of Narsingdi sadar model thana.

Three injured are Faruk Mia, 35, Daoud Mia, 40, and Saiful, 19, all the residents of Olipur village.
