Two killed in Brahmanbaria road crash

At least two people were when a passenger bus hit a truck on Cumilla-Sylhet highway in Kasma upazila of Cumilla early Thursday (June 27).

The deceased were known as Razu Mia, 20, son of Kashem Mia, and Saif Mia, 20, son of Taz Uddin.

Khatihata highway police outpost In-Charge (OC) Ashis Kumar Sanal said the accident took place when the bus tried to overtake the bus recklessly early Thursday, leaving two people injured critically.

Later, the injured were sent to Brahmanbaria district sadar hospital where duty doctor declared them dead, the OC added.
