1 killed, 12 injured as bus overturns in Sitakunda

At least one person was killed and 12 others were injured when a bus of Star Line Paribahan turned turtle on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in the Fakirhat area of Faujdarhat in Sitakunda, Chattogram.

The incident took place around 9:30am on Saturday (June 29).

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Sitakunda fire service station officer Abdul Sabur confirmed the incident.

Of the injured, several are in critical condition, he said.

Vehicular movement on the highway came to a complete halt due to the accident.
