Police cordon off suspected militant den in N’ganj

The Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of Police has cordoned off a four-storey house, suspecting it a militant hideout in the Barpa area of Rupganj in Narayanganj.

The ATU members have been surrounding the house since Tuesday (July 2) morning.

Mahfuzul Alam Russel, Superintendent of Police of Media and Awareness Wing of ATU, confirmed this to the media, adding that the police will start operation soon.

Details will be briefed after the operation, he said.
