Two youths killed in Faridpur road crash

Two youths were killed in an accident in Boalmari upazila of  Faridpur district on Tuesday evening.

The accident took place around 6:30 pm on the Majhkandi-Boalmari-Bhatiapara regional highway in Baikhir Milghar area under Chatul union in the upazila.

The deceased were identified as Husain Mia, 21, son of Ramjan Mia, a resident of Naopara village under Alphadanga upazila and his cousin Raju Sheikh, 21, son of Nurul Islam, of Dharalchar village under the same upazila.

According to locals, a passenger bus from Alfadanga to Faridpur collided head-on with their motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, leaving dead them on the spot.
