Husband, wife found dead in Bagerhat

A man and his wife were found dead in their house in Baitpur village of Bemrata union under Sadar upazila of Bagerhat on Thursday (July 4).

The deceased were known as Md Dawud Sheikh, 45, and his wife Soheli Akter Lucky, 38.

Local union parishad member Kalam Hossain said getting information of the incident, we informed police. Later, the law enforcers recovered the bodies.

Bagerhat model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Saidur Rahman said father of the slain Dawud Sheikh noticed the handing bodies first.

Legal process is being taken in this regard, OC added.
