Bangladeshi youth shot dead `by BSF` in Thakurgaon

A Bangladeshi young man was allegedly gunned down by some members of the Indian Border Security Force along Baliadangi border area in Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon early Friday (July 5).

The deceased was known as Md Razu Mia, 28, son of Habibar Ali, hailed from Gariali village of Palashbari union in the upazila.

Baliadangi police station Officer-in-Charge Firoz Kabir said the victim received bullet injuries when he went to Nagarvita border area to smuggle cattle.

Thakurgaon-50 BGB commander lieutenant colonel Md Tanzir Ahmed said we have heard the matter. Details can be said later after a flag meeting.
