Ctg court orders to confiscate assets of former ADC, wife

A Chattogram court has ordered to confiscate assets worth approximately Tk 11.50 crore belonging to former Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Kamrul Hasan and his wife Saima Begum.

The court of Chattogram Metropolitan Sessions Judge passed the order on Tuesday (July 9) in response to a petition by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

ACC public prosecutor Kazi Sanowar Ahmed Lavlu confirmed the news.

During the investigation, it was revealed that Kamrul Hasan amassed illegal assets worth Tk 9,62,85,188 and his wife Tk 1,62,85,188.
