Chattogram rail links snapped

Rail communication of Chattogram with rest of the country has been suspended as anti-quota protesters are holding demonstration blocking the railways in the district as part of their Bangla Blockade programme.

The students started the programme around 12pm on Wednesday (July 10).

The students who participated in the protests said, “Not only the railways but also the roads will be blocked in today’s programme. We are taking a position to implement the all-out Bangla blockade announced by students across the country. Our movement will continue until the demands are met.”
