3 killed as BCL clashes with quota protesters in Ctg

A clash erupted between Chhatra League and protesters demanding quota reform in Chattogram, leaving three people dead.

The incident took place in Muradpur area of the city around 4 pm on Tuesday (July 16).

Both bodies are in the emergency department of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).

CMCH Director Brigadier General Mohammad Taslim Uddin confirmed the information.

One of the deceased was a student of Chittagong College and the other was initially reported to be a pedestrian. Another could not be identified immediately.
