Banks experience surge of clients in Tangail

The government offices, banks and financial institutions reopened on Wednesday (July 24) for the limited period, after a three-day of general holiday the government declared by executive order amid the quota reform movement.
Branches experienced a surge of clients in Tangail on Wednesday.
Businessmen and common clients gathered to withdraw and deposit money. Many people also visited branches to pay electricity, gas and other utility bills. Long queues were seen in front of the branches.
The offices and banks remained open from 11am to 3pm.
