4 people of a family found dead in Brahmanbaria

Hanging bodies of four people of a family have been recovered from a house at Nabinagar upazila in Brahmanbaria.

The bodies were recovered from their house at Bijoypara of the upazila around 10:30am on Sunday (July 28).

The deceased were identified as Sohag Mia, 33, his wife Jannat Akter, 25 and their two daughters Faria Akter, 4, and Fahima Akter, 2.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the hanging bodies of four people of a family, said Md Serajul Islam, additional superintendent of police of Nabinagar Circle.

Reason behind their deaths could not be known immediately, he said, adding that legal action will be taken in this regard.
